screens

Hello, darlings! I hope each of you had a great weekend. It's sweltering in the South!

There has been a lot of fruit-basket turnover in my house these past few weeks, which for me leads to hiding things to avoid a visual mess. (Please tell me you all do this, too.) And what better way to hide a mess than a screen?

I've always loved a folding screen; not sure why - maybe it's the Asian feel, or that I love a statement piece. Either way, here are a few that I currently am enamored of...

This yellow one might not be the best for hiding stuff, but it would be a great way to add some visual interest in a corner or if you have a huge, gaping wall.

How cute would this one be in a kid's room or play room? Or even a dorm room?

I wish I could find the source for this blue one. I adore it.

This antiqued mirrored one is formal, but really lovely (and pricey! Yikes!). If you were handy, you might could DIY it with some silver leaf.

Jenny even used one as a headboard! Genius!

Do you have a screen in your home? Do you love them or loathe them?
